These motor mount shims are designed for use with Fox Mustangs. When using the stock Coyote Oil pan, there is often interference with the K-member due to an unusual hump in the pan (shown). Our shim kit comes with two different thicknesses to accommodate most swaps.
Due to the difficulty in installing and removing the Coyote engine from the Fox engine compartment (its a tight fit!), we designed our kit so that the shims could be installed once the motor mount studs were aligned properly with the K-member, so removal of the engine is not required. While convenient, it is important to USE CAUTION and make sure the engine is safely supported when using this method.
