This little pigtail is a lifesaver.

 

GM alternators require an exciter wire with a 12V switched source, otherwise they won't charge. We hear from a lot of swappers who have this problem, particularly when swapping to a carbureted system.

This pigtail solves that issue and even allows for the use of a voltmeter if you wish. Simply plug this wire into your alternator and connect to a 12V ignition switched source. Your charging problems are over!

    Product looks great quality looks great tight wrapping with the shrink tape would be 5 stars if I had installed and working
